Beat 'Em Up

Lead Narrative Designer
House Of Cards was a team project that me and a team of 13 (named "Soup Studios") made in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. House of Cards is about an unnamed card mage in medieval times, who uses magic and a dagger to fight his way through a mansion filled with card-based enemies and escape!
This project was meant to simulate working in the game design industry, complete with hard deadlines, project managers and creative directors, and separate departments. I was in charge of the Narrative
and Level Design department. I implemented all of the tutorial text, led the creation of the game's plot, and designed the basic layout for the game itself.

Beat 'Em Up

MARTIAL LAWLESS
Producer, Lead Narrative Designer, Lead Audio Designer
Martial Lawless is an academic project that me and a team of students made for my Game Development II class. This game is a 2D beat 'em up in which your unnamed character fights in an arena until they become overwhelmed. They can punch, kick, throw, and even use a special move which allows them to attack relentlessly. I was the project manager for this game, and me and my team (named "Hanzai") created this over the short span of 3 months. In addition to being the project manager and creating the narrative, I was also the lead audio designer, which means thatI oversaw production, ensured that presentations ran smoothly, and created a large portion of the music and sound effects in the game.

VR Mystery

CHANGELINGVR
Lead Narrative Designer
ChangelingVR is a narrative-based VR mystery game that is still in ongoing development by Xana Ad Hoc Studios. I was the Lead of Narrative Production for the team of Summer 2023, and me and my team successfully rewrote the entire script of the game, as well as creating new archetypes for almost all characters and fleshing them out accordingly. In addition to scriptwriting, I also gained experience in directing voice actors during dialogue recordings, as well as leading progress checks among my team and taking full control of our production pipeline so that we can keep track of the work completed by us as well as others. Overall, it was a very fun and informational experience, filled with communication and unfamiliar softwares that I've come to gain a better understanding of.
